This conference was meant to take place in 2020, but was delayed due to COVID 19.
Getting Git
This time around, I facilitated a workshop entitled ‘Getting Git’ which showed participants how github could be used with a class. This workshop was well received. Here is a link to the presentation and associated videos.
Flask & Python
I attended two workshops focused on using Flask and Python to create dynamic web pages and databases. Both workshops were worthwhile as it is good to know how Python can be used as an alternative to php. This is not something that I would normally have time to explore and it is always good to expand one’s skill set and digital horizons.
Quick Reflection
As usual this two-day conference was a valuable opportunity to network with colleagues and be exposed to new ideas for teaching Digital Technologies.
