Here is a link to the observation for Term 2, week 2. This was supposed to happen towards the end of term one but was slightly delayed due to circumstances beyond my control.
Overall I was pleased with how this lesson went. The focus was on percentages and one of my goals was to ensure that everyone in the room got a good understanding of the basics. The class in question is a ‘top stream’ group but there are several students in the class who quietly struggle with the basics and are embarrassed to admit this. The powerpoint used in this lesson was aimed at them.
