Topic: Computer Science – Binary Numbers
Here is the observation:
I was pleased with how this lesson went as most students in the class were able to follow the videos available via our Moodle. By the end of the class they had a clear idea of how to convert integers to binary numbers. They were also able to explain why representing data as bits matters.
Flipping the class so that students can access content 24/7 has proved to be a useful strategy. Having videos that I have made rather than those of a ‘random stranger’ also helps as students can relate to the content and feel as if they are being taught by their actual teacher.
